  • Alumni come to campus the weekend of September 11 to celebrate the School's 79th annual Homecoming.
  • MHS holds a September 26 open house for the public that includes tours of Founders Hall, The Homestead, and Dearden House, as well as a showing of the Centennial documentary, "Living the Legacy: The Untold Story of Milton Hershey School."
  • MHS publishes three books to commemorate the Centennial. The books are: The Growing Story of Milton Hershey School by Carol Parenzan Smalley, a picture book for elementary school-aged children; Diary of a Milt: Living in the '70s at Milton Hershey School also by Smalley and targeted to middle school-aged children; and Milton Hershey School by MHS School History Director Jim McMahon, a comprehensive pictorial history of the School. The books are available for sale in the Founders Hall Visitors Center.
