September 2008
- At the end of September, MHS's enrollment is 1,763, which is 60 more students than in September 2007. It's also the second consecutive month of reaching a record high enrollment.
- On September 12 and 13, the MHS community celebrates the 151st birthday of Milton S. Hershey with an assembly featuring musical performances and the traditional singing of 'Happy Birthday" to Mr. Hershey. Students also serve free cupcakes and The Hershey Company distributes free Hershey bars to the public during birthday activities sponsored by The M.S. Hershey Foundation at Hershey's Chocolate Town Square.
