- Senior Hall Teachers Jaunine Fouche and Erica Glatt receive National Board Certification, the highest standard for the teaching profession in the U.S. There are currently 20 teachers at MHS with National Board Certification.
- The third annual staff-sponsored Milton's Christmas Workshop is held December 2 and 4. The workshop enables students to purchase affordable gifts for their loved ones. Approximately 740 students purchased more than 2,200 donated gifts. Proceeds from the event will be donated to charity.
- Local community members join staff and students for the annual Lunchtime Concert Series in the Founders Hall Rotunda during the week of December 8. Performers include the Guitar Ensemble, Memorial Hall Dance Troupe, Memorial Hall Choir, Catherine Hall Jazz Band, Catherine Hall Handbells, 7th- & 8th-Grade Band, 7th- & 8th-Grade Choir, New Horizons, Spartan Concert Band, and the Varsity Choir.
