Tree fire forces Rotunda closure

FH Christmas Tree On Monday, Dec. 21, the Christmas tree in the Founders Hall Rotunda caught fire, forcing closure of the Milton Hershey School Visitors Center and the administrative offices housed in the building.

No one was injured, and the fire was contained quickly, thanks to the fast response of MHS staff members and firefighters from Hershey and Hummelstown.

As a result, Founders Hall will remain closed to visitors, but will reopen April 10, 2010. If you have questions regarding the reopening of the building, please call 717-520-2000.
