MHS at NYSE Bell Ringing

In honor of the School's Centennial Founders Week celebration, several MHS students and alumni attended the Friday, November 13, ringing of the bell to begin trading at the New York Stock Exchange. The MHS community members were invited as guests of The Hershey Company. David West, chairman, president, and CEO of The Hershey Company rang the opening bell at 9:29 AM.

John Hanawalt '70, president of the MHS Alumni Association; Joanne Troischt '85, vice president of the Alumni Association; Ted Cogdell '83, who suggested the idea to participate; Teacher Quinn McCullough; and Seniors Chris Madan and Laura James were among guests representing MHS.
